Marshalling and engineer start-upThis course is about fixed aircraft marshalling and ramp hand signals based on the IATA Standards in the Airport Handling Manual and IATA Ground Handling Manual. You will learn the principles of nonverbal communication in the aviation field between the ground and cockpit crew and leading signals for safety operations with ground support equipment around the aircraft. This course will provide aircraft marshallers and ramp agents with the necessary knowledge and skills to control the movement of aircraft on the apron safely and efficiently based on national, local and international standards. The training is based on different training methods such as simulations, exercises, work with peers, individual work, case studies, etc., to develop a highly effective training procedure.
