Introduction to an airportThis course is about understanding the complex interaction of the key players involved in the aviation industry (airports, airlines, air traffic control centres, CAA, ICAO, EASA, IATA, ACI and others) and their specific responsibilities and operating procedures. It aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the aviation business and an in-depth overview of correlations between various stakeholders. The participants will be aware of the national and international aviation legal framework. The airport activities and basic procedures are presented from a multi-functional perspective. The course focuses on the structure of an airport, its operations and the interdependences between them. Case studies, discussions, examples from the practice and situational exercises will be solved during the course, giving the participants a comprehensive insight into the topic. The training is based on different training methods such as simulations, exercises, work with peers, individual work, case studies, etc., to develop a highly effective training procedure.
